It appears someone has a key to at least one Pepsi machine in Wilkes, and is using it to open the machine and take change from the cash box. An employee of Roaring River Auto sales called sheriff deputies Monday and reported that someone had taken about 75-dollars in change form the machine at the business. It happened sometime between 2:30 Saturday afternoon and about 9:30 Monday morning. There was no evidence of a break-in, and the machine was locked before the employee opened it to remove the money. Deputies are investigating.
