While some car break-ins only result in the theft of some loose change, one recent car break-in resulted in the theft of over 3400 dollars in various items.  The victim lives in a cul de sac on East Crooked Bow Road and had parked her 2001 Ford in front of her house overnight.  The next morning she found that the driver’s side window was pushed down.  The thief stole an FM transmitter, sunglasses, pocketbook, Apple laptop, Apple iPod, bank cards, Nintendo DSi, and Nintendo games.  The window to the car was also damaged.  Sheriff’s Officials questioned neighbors, but none reported seeing anything related to the theft.  The Sheriff’s Department is continuing to investigate.
