If you’re looking for a job through the holidays, Operation Christmas Child is having a Job Fair for seasonal paid positions at Samaritan's Purse 801 Bamboo Rd in Boone on Thursday October 6th from 4 til 7 pm.  Operation Christmas Child uses Shoeboxes filled with clothes, candy, and toys o demonstrate God's love in a tangible way to needy children around the world, and together with the local church worldwide, to share the Good News of Jesus.  Over 130 countries have received shoe boxes since the program began in 1993.  Last year, 8 million children around the world received shoe boxes.  Those interested in obtaining the temporary paid employment must complete online job applications before coming to the job fair.   For more information go to www.samaritanspurse.org .
