He invited her over for drinks.  She stayed the night and stole his car.  The woman only identified as Julie left a note and phone number.  When the victim called about the stolen car, Julie said she left it at Food Lion in Boone or Blowing Rock; she wasn’t sure which town she was in.  The victim tried to find his car but was unable to find it in either Boone or Blowing Rock.  Police tried to contact Julie but she no longer answered her phone.  Boone and Blowing Rock Police were contacted to be on the lookout for the stolen car described as a white 2003 Toyota Corolla valued at 2500 dollars.  As of yet, the car has not been found, more information on Julie is unknown, and charges are pending further investigation.
