Felons were seen in a local department store continuing in their criminal activities.  Wilkesboro Police received a call to Kohl’s concerning two people there with felony warrants.  Loss Prevention had detained the two after watching them come in the store, take a Columbia coat off the rack, go straight to Customer Service, and presented a receipt.  They were given cash back on the receipt as a return and left the store.  Police checked the names of the two identified as Randy Absher and Jessica Scott.  Scott said they got the receipt from an "unnamed friend."  Absher had a warrant for larceny from Food Lion.  Scott had a warrant for fictitious tag and no insurance and one criminal summons for failure to return rental property.  When police searched Scott, they found a baggie of green leafy substance.  Absher was arrested and charged with obtaining money by false pretense, shoplifting and the open warrant for larceny.  Scott was arrested and charged with open warrants, obtaining property by false pretense, and 2 counts of drug possession.
