The owner moved out of state about a year ago, and sometime in the 12 months that have passed, someone entered the house and made away with a truck load of property.  In a report filed with the Wilkes Sheriff’s Department, the owner is returning in a couple of weeks and had his son to check on the house.  The man door of the house had been pried open.  10,000 dollars in copper wiring and pipes was stolen and 3 flatscreen LCD TV’s were taken including a 52-inch LG, a 37-inch Panasonic, and a 36-inch Panasonic.  Stolen property is valued over 14,000 dollars.  Damages to the breaker box and plumbing is estimated at 4000 dollars.  More stolen property may be added to the list after the owner returns home in a couple of weeks.  At this time, there is no word on suspects; the Sheriff’s Department is still investigating.
