He said they came up from behind and hit him.  In a report filed with the Wilkes County Sheriff’s Department, a 45-year-old Millers Creek said that he was out in his yard when he was attacked from behind.  Someone hit him in the head and stole about 15 dollars in cash from his pockets.  The victim did not get a description of the attacker as he was hit in the back of the head.  A friend took the victim to WRMC for treatment of the head injury.  There is no word on suspects at this time as the Sheriff’s Department is still investigating.
