Robotics Competition at WCC

Wilkes Community College will host the “King of the Mountain Robotics Competition” on January 25 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Walker Center on the WCC Wilkes campus. This competition is open to all middle school students from Ashe and Alleghany counties. The Industrial and Workforce Development division at WCC is hosting the event. “This competition will allow WCC students to hone their technical and leadership skills while giving area middle school students a fun way to explore science, technology, engineering and math,” says Keith Casey, lead instructor for Computer Engineering.  For more information on this competition, please contact Keith Casey at keith.casey@wilkescc.edu or call 336-838-6486.  Wilkes Community College, a member of the North Carolina Community College System, is a public, two-year, open-door institution serving the people of Wilkes, Ashe and Alleghany counties and beyond.
