The Wilkes Sheriff's Office is investigating some criminal damage to property.  The property owner on Statesville Road reported that someone had vandalized a truck.  A jack was thrown through the windshield and it is believed that sugar was put in the gas tank.  Damages are estimated at 800 dollars.  No suspects were given with that report.
