U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) held a naturalization ceremony at Guilford Courthouse National Military Park to celebrate Memorial Day and to recognize the National Park Service 100^th anniversary.  The 50 candidates are from more than 20 nations.  Because it is an important American holiday, Memorial Day is included in the naturalization test. To qualify for naturalization, a candidate must have been a legal permanent resident and/or meet other qualifications. During the last decade, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) welcomed more than 6.6 million naturalized citizens.
