The Wilkes Sheriff's Office is investigating a theft from a construction site on Old Rash Road.  The victim reported that 200 feet in copper wire and a 50-foot drop cord were stolen from the building site this week.  No suspects were listed with the report.  Stolen property is valued at $600.
