Governor Roy Cooper urges North Carolinians to volunteer and support communities impacted by Hurricane Florence this week and in the weeks and months ahead. This week, Governor Cooper, cabinet leaders, state employees, volunteer groups, and corporations are volunteering to help with storm recovery efforts. Opportunities can include serving meals, gathering and distributing essential supplies to those in need, and helping clean out and repair damaged homes. To register for volunteer opportunities as an individual or with a group, visit VolunteerNC.org and complete the online volunteer survey.
