Break-ins and attempted break-ins.  The Wilkes Sheriff's Office was called concerning a vehicle break-in and theft.  Someone went through a vehicle while parked at the owner's residence in Moravian Falls.  A wallet and cash were taken.  Wilkes Deputies responded to a possible breaking and entering in progress on Winkler Mill Road.  There was damage to a door, but no entrance was gained inside the house and nothing reported stolen.  Finally, a Millers Creek property owner reported someone entered their garage and stole a chainsaw valued at $300.  There is a suspect in the last theft and charges are pending.
