The Wilkes Sheriff's Office was called recently to investigate some Identity Theft and Financial Fraud.  Reportedly, someone has stolen thousands of dollars from a North Wilkesboro woman.  The unauthorized transactions were done using the victim's debit card to steal money from her account.  No suspects were listed.  The investigation is continuing.
