Early One-Stop Voting continues this week through Saturday. The Wilkes Board of Elections says One Stop Voting is weekdays through May 1, 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.; May 2-4, 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.; and on Saturday, May 5, 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.  All early one-stop voting will be on the ground floor of the County Office Building in Wilkesboro. In early, one-stop voting, citizens can register and then vote.  Tuesday, May 8 is election day for party primaries and school board elections.
