Wilkesboro Police are investigating a couple of incidents in the Woodfield Way area.  Police were called to a break-in on Monday.  It was discovered Monday afternoon that the door to an outbuilding belonging to the Woodfield Homeowner's Association was kicked open.  Nothing was reported stolen from the building.  Damages to the door and lock were estimated at $400.  No suspects were listed with that report. Then Police were checking back in the Woodfield area on Tuesday when they found a bag of trash in the middle of the parking area.  Police checked but were unable to find any mail inside the trash leading to a suspect.  Illegal dumping charges are pending.
