Congresswoman Virginia Foxx will host her annual Veterans Information Session on today from 2-4pm, at the National Guard Armory in Elkin.  With the launch of the VA MISSION Act last month, this information session will provide an opportunity to learn about the new ways VA healthcare beneficiaries can streamline their access to programs.  VA representatives and veterans service organizations will be at the Session to discuss issues and benefits for those who have served in America’s Armed Forces and their families.  Available services include: reviewing the status of a case, starting a claim for compensation, and signing up for VA healthcare. The National Guard Armory is located on N Bridge Street in Elkin.
