A car colliding with a power pole left several without power this week.  Late Monday night, a vehicle ran off the road near the Moravian Falls Post Office and hit a utility pole.  The driver was transported to Wake Forest Baptist Wilkes Medical with non-life threatening injuries.  The pole was broken off from the impact which led to power outages in the area through Tuesday morning.
