The dedication ceremony is tomorrow. The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services and partners will host a dedication ceremony and ribbon cutting at the new Broughton Hospital on Wednesday.  The new 477,000-square-foot, three-story building in Morganton, NC,  will serve the psychiatric care needs of individuals residing in the 37 westernmost counties of North Carolina including Wilkes. The state-of-the-art psychiatric hospital houses 297 beds and employs more than 1,400 healthcare professionals.
