Maybe Halitosis Led to Stolen Breath Mints

In a car break-in at a Wilkesboro hotel it seems the thief had bad breath.  Among other things stolen from a vehicle parked at the Holiday Inn Express, a package of Lifesaver wintergreen mints were stolen.  The victim from Raleigh, who works for the state, said she had been to her car a few times but believed that she had locked the doors each time.  However, police could not find any signs of forced entry.  The thief stole 85 dollars in cash, a credit card from her wallet, a video projector from the trunk, and the Lifesaver mints from the console.  The victim cancelled the credit card immediately, and Police are still trying to sniff out the wintergreen thief.
