Good News and Wilkes Prison Ministry

There is Good News coming out of the Wilkes Prison Ministry, according to Chaplain Larry Ford.  A 5-day spring revival was held with Evangelist Craig Church and Pastor Steve Ashley in which there were 13 professions of faith.  The prisoners also had a commemoration of the Lord's Last Supper and an Easter SonRise Service.  One of the Wilkes Prison Ministry's major efforts is their Transition house that offers a six-month faith based program to transition released prisoners back into society.  Right now, volunteers are needed to mentor at the Transition House.  If you can help, please call Chaplain Ford at 336-667-4533.
