Give Back at Library Has Double Meaning

The local library invites you to start the New Year with a clean slate at the library while helping to put food on the table for those in need.  This week is the annual “Food for Fines” week at the Wilkes County Library and Traphill Branch.   Those with unreturned books and fines can bring one food item during the week of January 9th through the 14th , and the Wilkes Library will waive one dollar's worth of library fines.  Bring more items and they'll waive a dollar for every item you bring.  So pay those fines by feeding those in need at the Wilkes Library this week.
