Jonesville Fire Ruled Arson

The fire was on Saturday and the arrest was made on Sunday.  According to Jonesville Police, a 16-year-old was arrested on Sunday for arson related to a Saturday night fire at the Jonesville Dollar General.  The fire was reported just before 9 o’clock Saturday night at the Dollar General on Winston Road in Jonesville.  There was extensive damage to the store and contents before the fire could be extinguished.  8 area fire departments were called out Saturday to battle the store fire.  After further investigation, Jonesville Police arrested a teenager on Sunday for intentionally starting that fire.
