Possible Stalker in Wilkesboro

Was he stalking her and her daughter in the store?  He certainly was acting suspiciously and Wilkesboro Police are currently investigating.  A North Wilkesboro woman and her one-year-old daughter were shopping in Kohls Monday morning.  Another customer pointed out to the woman that a man in the store went everywhere she went.  A store employee asked the man if he needed anything, but the man said that he was just looking around.  At one point, the man approached and spoke to the woman’s young daughter.  The woman and her daughter left the store.  The man followed them into the parking lot and walked around her car before going to his own vehicle.  Police were called but the man had left the scene before they arrived.  The man is described as a white male in his 30’s, 5’8”, clean shaven, short hair, and about 175 pounds.  He was last seen driving a teal green Ford Explorer with a Tennessee license plate.  He never touched the woman or spoke to her directly, but he certainly appeared to be following her.  Police are obtaining video surveillance from the store and the investigation of the possible stalker is still underway.  The woman was advised by Police if she saw the man again to call them and remain with other people in public areas until Police arrived.
