Stolen Car Recovered

Someone saw his take the car and called the owner.  The Wilkes Sheriff's Office was called after someone saw a man use a screwdriver to start and steal a car from the Traphill area.  The owner of the victim was notified by witnesses that her car was taken.  Sheriff's Deputies found the car thief who stated that the car was actually his and he didn't steal it.  However, the title of the vehicle was not in his name but in the name of the woman who called the Sheriff's Dept.  The man was arrested and charged with auto theft.  The debate over ownership will now move to a courthouse setting.
