Stolen, Forged, and Cashed

By the time she realized her checkbook was gone, checks had already been written and cashed.  The Wilkes Sheriff's Office was called to investigate a theft and forgery.  The victim stated that she noticed her check book was missing and contacted her bank.  The victim was informed by her bank that numerous checks had been written and cashed at Food Lion.  The total amount stolen from the account was just over 400 dollars.  The victim stopped all transactions with her bank.  There is a suspect and charges are pending.
