NC Governor Offers Help to Louisiana

Governor Pat McCrory issued the following statement on the severe flooding in Louisiana:  “Ann and I are continuing to pray for the people of Louisiana as they face their second week of catastrophic flooding. We have reached out to offer support and stand ready to assist.”  North Carolina has offered assistance to other states in similar situations. Over the past 18 months, North Carolina has helped Mississippi, Ohio, South Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia by providing resources and staff expertise during emergencies including a mobile disaster hospital, imagery and geographic information system analysis, as well as emergency workers and bottled water.
