May is National Stroke Awareness Month

May is National Stroke Awareness Month and the Comprehensive Stroke Team at Wake Forest Baptist held a luncheon yesterday for stroke survivors and their caregivers. Survivors and their caregivers reunitee with the Stroke Team to share in their recovery and progress made since their initial treatment. The Stroke Team also shared information on clinical trials that are looking at ways to improve stroke care and treatment.
