Home Break-in and Thousands of Dollars in Property Stolen

Stolen property totals nearly $18000.  A homeowner off Hwy 421 in Wilkesboro returned home last week to a break-in.  Someone had entered his house and taken cash, a Nightforce scope, and a computer.  The cash was hidden inside a picture frame.  An inventory of stolen property from the house is still underway.  No suspects were listed.  The Wilkes Sheriff's Office is investigating.
