Sen Burr on D-Day

Senator Richard Burr (R-NC), Chairman of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, issued the following statement on the 75thAnniversary of D-Day: “Today, three-quarters of a century later, we honor the men and women who answered the call to service in World War II. May we never forget their sacrifice and may we remain forever humbled by the legacy of the Greatest Generation.” In 2009, to honor the 65th Anniversary of D-Day, Senator Burr led a delegation of Senators to the official Memorial Day Ceremonies at the Normandy American Cemetery in France.
