Work on Greenway Update

Work on the local greenway continues with the installation of a bridge in North Wilkesboro.  An 80-foot bridge was place over a small stream near Memorial Park.  The bridge was placed by crane last week and should be ready for foot traffic by later this month.  This new portion of the Yadkin River Greenway connects existing sections near Memorial Park and the Yadkin River bridge between the two towns.  Funding for the project is from grant money and donations.
