Public Hearing on Wilkes Election Sites

The Wilkes County Board of Elections will host a Public Hearing on Tuesday, October 8th at 7:00 pm at the Champion Fire Department at 491 Champion Mt. Pleasant Road. The purpose of the hearing is to get public input concerning proposed changes: 1--Move of polling place to the Champion Fire Department from Mt. Pleasant School and 2--Merger of the Mt. Pleasant and Jobs Cabin precincts. Again, the Public Hearing on the proposed changes is Tuesday, October 8th at 7pm at the Champion Fire Dept.
