Arrested For Stealing and Forging Check

The Wilkes Sheriff's Office arrested someone trying to forge a check to purchase hundreds of dollars in groceries.  The Sheriff's Office received a call from Food Lion in Millers Creek regarding a possible scam and fake check.  Deputies arrived and found a female trying to pass a stolen and forged check to purchase over $400 in groceries.  Tasha Collins was arrested on multiple charges including:  larceny, forgery, and ID theft.
