It’s a new year, so it’s time once again for Pre-K screening. The Wilkes County Schools’ Pre-K screening is now until March 27, 2025.  If you have any questions, please contact Wilkes County Schools Central Office at 336-667-1121.  Also, Wilkes County Schools reminds us that January is School Board Appreciation Month. The Wilkes County School Board has 5 members, including: Chairman Rudy Holbrook, Vice Chair Kirk Walker, Joan Caudill, Jammie Jolly, and Dr. Donna Cotton. Through social media, the local school system is thanking those 5 board members for their dedication to students, staff and community.
