Wilkes County Commissioners to Meet Next Week

The North Carolina Association of County Commissioners is partnering with Wilkes County Board of Commissioners and Wilkes County Veterans Services to show The Veteran's Battlefield today at the Wilkes County Agricultural Center Conference Room at 5:30. The Veteran's Battlefield is a documentary that explores veterans' challenges in North Carolina and how residents can best support our veteran population. North Carolina is home to around 700,000 veterans and has the eighth-largest veteran population in the nation. The documentary is free and open to the public.
