Stolen Gate

OK.  They stole a gate.  Did they want to sell it for scrap metal or did they just need a gate?  In either case, a Sampson Road property owner reported the theft this week to the Wilkes County Sheriff’s Department.  The victim said the 12-foot gate to his property had been taken down and carried off.  The victim says his neighbor looks after the property for him but didn’t see anyone there when the gate was stolen.  The property owner will be replacing the stolen gate valued at 100 dollars.  There are no suspects.
