Stolen Guns One at a Time

The victim told Sheriff’s Officials that one gun was stolen a few weeks ago and one was stolen recently.  The Thurmond resident called the Sheriff’s Department this week to report the theft of an AK-47 from his house.  The victim said that he noticed a Winchester 70 300 MAG Synthetic stock with Simmons Scope was missing back in December but did not report it.  Then the victim came home this week and noticed the AK-47 was gone.  The back of the gun cabinet had been ripped off.  The stolen guns are valued at 800 dollars.  The investigation by the Sheriff’s Department is continuing and charges are pending.
