Stolen Tractor and Equipment

A tractor and equipment totaling nearly 5000 dollars was stolen from a shed in Wilkesboro.  The Wilkes County Sheriff’s Department was called on Monday about the theft that occurred at an outbuilding on Old Hwy 18 South.  Two men owned the property.  One man was working at the property, discovered the theft, and called the other man.  According to the theft report, the last time either man knew all the items were still in the shed was in early October.  So it is unclear when the theft occurred.  Stolen property included a Ford Tractor with front end damage and a 600 emblem on the grill.  Also 10 pallet jacks, a set of plows, some discs, and a pneumatic nail gun were stolen.  Again stolen property including tractor is valued at nearly 5000 dollars.  There are no suspects or other leads at this time.
