Caught Shoplifting on Video

Apparently, they don't know that they are being watched on surveillance camera. Wilkesboro Police were called to Walmart concerning a shoplifter.  Store staff reported seeing a white male enter the store and go to the Sporting Goods section of the store.  The man was seen tearing a rifle scope package from a locked rack. Then the man took a knife and opened the package right there inside the store and removed the rifle scope.  Finally, the man took the scope and walked out the Pharmacy exit. He was stopped in the parking lot by store employees.  Police arrived and arrested John Robinson of Millers Creek with misdemeanor larceny and with one count of larceny by removing anti-theft device.  He was given a 1500 dollar bond.
