Opioid Misuse and Overdose Prevention in NC

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services will host the 2019 Opioid Misuse and Overdose Prevention Summit June 11–12 in Raleigh as part of its continued work to address the statewide impacts of the opioid epidemic. Leaders from across the state will speak on the importance of community involvement in prevention, treatment and harm reduction efforts. The summit will include the launch of NC Opioid Action Plan 2.0, an update of the 2017 Action Plan to reduce opioid overdose deaths in North Carolina.
