Hugh Chatham Hospital Honors Doctor

Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital in Elkin announced last week that Dr. Tucker Jennings is the recipient of the 2019 Hal Stuart Award. This award began in 2006 and is given each year in honor of Dr. Hal Stuart, an outstanding physician who served the local community for nearly forty years and who was the doctor for the Mom of this reporter when I was born. Voted on by the nursing staff of Hugh Chaham Memorial Hospital, the Hal Stuart Award honors a physician who most closely exemplifies the values of excellent patient care and collaboration with nursing professionals.
