Blood Donations Needed--3WC Blood Drive

Winter storms have already caused the cancellation of about 200 blood drives across the country resulting in about 5,500 blood donations going uncollected so far in the new year. Where it is safe to do so, we encourage people to schedule a blood donation appointment by using the Red Cross Blood Donor App, visiting RedCrossBlood.org or calling 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767).  A great time to give locally is the blood drive sponsored by 3WC and Edgewood Baptist Church Tuesday, January 14 from 1:30 to 6 on Edgewood Road in Wilkesboro.
