Operation Christmas Child Dropoffs Nov. 12-19

Local volunteers are collecting simple shoe box gifts personally packed by children, families, and individuals here in Wilkes County. From Wilkes County, the shoe box gifts will be sorted and sent using whatever means necessary—sea containers, trucks, buses, trains, airplanes, helicopters, boats, camels, even dog sleds—to reach suffering children around the world.
“Specialty Car Co. Inc. is grateful to Samaritan’s Purse for this opportunity to share in the Operation Christmas Child Ministry,” says Scotti Stevens, collection site coordinator. “We would like to encourage our community to prepare shoe boxes for children around the world to enjoy.”
LOCAL COLLECTION SITES:
- Specialty Car Company Inc., 119 Old Brickyard Road, North Wilkesboro
- Baptist Home Baptist Church, 2367 Sparta Road, North Wilkesboro
